Plans have been revealed to convert an empty Pakenham trampoline centre into an indoor sports mega-haven.

A planning application to the Cardinia Shire Council by Enlight Global has laid out the plans for the multi-sports indoor facility in the old Jump Crazy Trampoline Park building on Bald Hill Road, featuring amenities for cricket, soccer, futsal, netball, badminton, table tennis and netball players.

“The facility will consist of 12 cricket training lanes which can be turned into four indoor cricket courts, four netball courts, two futsal courts, four indoor soccer courts, three badminton courts which can also be used to play table tennis (three courts) as well,” the permit reads.

“This again will be great for local clubs, kids, adults and schools.

“We also plan to organise interschool indoor cricket, soccer and netball tournaments with the support of the local schools in daytime and adult tournaments will be held in morning and evening time.

“This project will bring an answer to long waited problem of an indoor facility for local cricket clubs, schools and locals. It will create jobs. It will create more opportunities to kids and adults to participate in sports.”

Additionally, plans include a strength and conditioning coaching area, a sports physio area and a sports shop.

The property currently has 70 car spaces and one disabled car park

The facility also has a disabled access lift, disabled toilets, unisex ambulant toilet, six marked emergency exit doors and fire hydrants.

The property was sold in June 2017 for $3,135,000.
