It’s quickly developed a reputation for being one of the great social events on the calendar and the Pakenham Cricket Club (PCC) Pink Ladies Day once again delivered in spades.

The upstairs social room at Toomuc Reserve was a sea of pink as 230 ladies not only had a great time, but helped to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation – who provide Breast Cancer Nurses and other important support services right around Australia.

Comedian Bev Killick had the crowd in stitches with her risqué routine, while Pink Ladies Day provided the perfect opportunity for familiar faces to catch up in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Pink Ladies Day raised $25,693 this year, taking the total raised to $87,000 in the nine events held since its inception.

Gazette photographer STEWART CHAMBERS was on hand to capture all the colour and excitement.
