THERE’LL be plenty of local cricketers nursing sore heads tomorrow after the completion of their grand finals over the weekend.

Here’s a brief rundown of some of the all-important results, with a complete grand final recap to follow in this week’s Pakenham-Berwick Gazette, out first thing Wednesday morning.

DDCA Turf 1: Cranbourne won by reverse outright in sensational scenes.

WGCA Premier: Pakenham toppled the two-time reigning champions Kooweerup to cap off an incredible unbeaten season. It will surely be remembered as one of the great WGCA grand finals.

WGCA District: A proud Pakenham Upper-Toomuc earned its promotion back to Premier off the back of a stellar performance at home over Clyde.

WGCA Sub-District: Tooradin stormed past Pakenham on day one to claim its fifth Sub-District crown in the past seven seasons.
