REVIEW – ROUND 7

STATE LEAGUE 1 – SOUTH EAST

A competitive Casey Comets couldn’t quite find enough firepower to overcome Nunawading City in a 3-2 loss at home on Saturday afternoon.

The Comets were well served by the likes of Vojislav Milojevic and Bonel Obradovic, who both managed to find the back of the net.

Doveton SC, meanwhile, continued its frightening dominance over the competition with a 4-0 win against Mazenod Victory at home.

The Doves led 2-0 at half-time, and doubled that score by the final whistle in a commanding performance that sees them five-points clear at the top of the table and still undefeated after seven rounds.

STATE LEAGUE 2 – SOUTH EAST

Berwick City and South Springvale couldn’t be separated at the final whistle, with a 0-0 draw at Warner Reserve.

Both quality sides fought out a tough battle, but both couldn’t find enough avenues to the goal.
