Catani’s season has gone from bad to terrible after another disappointing performance against Trafalgar at home.

The Blues could only manage to kick one goal for the afternoon, while the away side piled on 27.18 180 in a massacre of scoring opportunities.

Trafalgar’s Damian Mann kicking eight goals in his sides’ thumping win, while James Williams was the Blues only goal scorer on a dreadful day.

Lang Lang had a thumping 126-point win over Nilma Darnum at Nilma Reserve.

Brett Coghill kicked five goals in the 22.13 145 to 2.7 19, win over Nilma with Josh Collie and Jesse Hand both kicking four goals in the win.

Buln Buln had a convincing win over Poowong, the Lyrebirds kicking 14.16 100 to Poowong’s 5.5 35.

Poowong’s Adam Rakip and Matthew Gray both kicked four goals in their sides’ 65-point win.

Steven McInnes was the only multiple goal-kicker for the Magpies in the loss.

Yarragon outwitted, outplayed and outlasted Nyora at Dowton Park.

Tom Dovaston kicked two goals to see them to sail to the 28-point win.

Nyora could only manage three goals in the 7.11 53 to 3.7 25 loss.

Longwarry held off a fast finishing Ellinbank to prevail by nine points in the match of the round.
