LADIES
The Drouin Ladies played for the March Monthly Medal on Tuesday 7 March, kindly sponsored by Drouin Family Hotel.
This was also the final round of the 2023 Club Championships.
The Division 1 daily winner was Leanne Pollard (10) with 75 nett, two shots clear of runner up Glenda Warren (18) with 77 nett.
The Division 2 winner was Judy Bibby (29) on 78 nett, while Vanessa Campbell (25) was runner up with 79 on a countback.
The Division 3 winner was Monica Gidley (33) on 78 nett, from runner up Mildred Lyon (42) on 81 nett.
Down the line balls went to Shirley Roberts 78, Lorna Hoskins 79 and Anne Neilson 80.
Nearest the pins went to: 5th Marg Rowe, 8th Judy Dixon and second shot Mildred Lyon, 10th Anne Neilson and 14th Ann Roberts (lucky card).
The back-nine competition winner was Vanessa Campbell (25) on 34 nett.
The Drouin Home Timber and Hardware, March Monthly Medal winner was Leanne Pollard who was also the daily Scratch winner with 85 off the stick.
On Saturday 4 March the individual Stroke winner was Glenda Warren (19) with a lovely 69 nett. Runner up was Shirley Roberts (12) on 73 nett and down the line balls went to Deb Daniel 75 and Jeannette Phillips 76.
Judy Dixon won the nearest the pin on the 10th hole.

DROUIN GOLF
A stableford score of 38 was the lucky number at Drouin Golf Club on Saturday with both A and B Grade going to those with a two-under par score.
Paul Barratt won A Grade via a countback from runner up Joe Kirby, while B Grade winner Shane Wilkinson scored 38 points to win by a clear two-shot margin from Ian Bertolotti.
The best card handed in for the day for almost on fire, with Reg Dixon scoring 45 points for a one-shot win over the dreadfully unlucky Jensen Cavanagh, who smashed his handicap with 44 points.
Down the lines went to Hank van Duren 43, Rob Christie 38, Stephen Kohut, Shane Dwyer and Rob Ballingall 37, Peter Smith 36 and Lloyd Mareska 35.
Nearest the pins went to 5th Warren Cook, 8th Peter Smith, 10th Glenda Warren and 14th James Sandman.
Barry Beechey took out the A Grade prize on Wednesday, signing off on 36 points for a narrow victory over Reg Dixon on 35 points.
B Grade winner was Jarrod Reid with a very impressive 41 points, five clear of runner up Dave Axford 36.
Also on 36 points was Ron Tomasetti, who led the balls down the line, with Ian Hemphill 35, Paul Barratt 35, Jock Granger 35, John Wolswinkel 35 and Zach Bambridge 34 also amongst the prizes.
Nearest the pins went to 5th Rohan Berkhout, 8th Peter Mitchell, 10th Peter Britchford and 14th Mick Whitford.
