A week off from competition did little to halt the momentum of Predators and Snipers in the South West Gippsland Dart League, with the competition’s two powerhouses continuing their winning ways as the competition resumed on Tuesday night.

Jordan and Steve both threw five tons each for Predators with Steve registering a league-leading fourth 180 for the season on their team’s way to a 14-1 win over Railway, while Snipers took care of business against Fore with a 12-3 win, featuring six tons from Dean to remain the competition’s most prolific ton-thrower.

Dart Vaders made it three wins in a row with a 13-2 defeat of Generals, while Mud Rats earned a third wins in four matches by squeaking home past Dart Attack, 9-6.

Bullseyes came crashing back to earth after a breakthrough win in round seven, as Gembrook snapped a two game losing streak in a 13-2 thrashing, and Just Social narrowly edged 26ers 8-7 in a tight contest, thanks to five tons from 4×4.

Cheers, meanwhile, ensured Hoodies’ winless opening stretch to the season continued, in a 14-1 rout.
