This is not just a yarn

THE Black and Coloured Sheep and Woolcraft Day is on again this year.
Hosted by the South East Region of the Black and Coloured Sheep Breeders Association, the family event has become an annual institution for more than just its wool.
It will be held on 29 August at the Lang Lang Memorial Hall from 9.30am.
A fleece market will be open throughout the day selling yarn, craft supplies, handcrafted goods and naturally coloured wool.
There’ll also be spinning and other handicraft demonstrations.
But the main event will be a fashion parade showcasing handcrafted garments made from naturally coloured wool and other fibres.
Members of the breeders association will be on hand to answer any breeding and rearing questions and they will be plenty of naturally coloured sheep to admire.
Entry is $5 for adults and free for children under 16 years old.
Refreshments will be available all day.
