Upper Beac hub marks milestone

THE hub in the heart of Upper Beaconsfield celebrated 30 years of success last month.
After its inception in the wake of the Ash Wednesday bushfires, the Upper Beaconsfield Community Centre has been a roaring success, supporting locals in the township.
Former mayor and Cardinia Shire councillor Brett Owen attended the celebrations and officially opened the Upper Beaconsfield Men’s Shed and the community garden located at the centre.
For more on these celebration and the history of the centre, see next week’s Pakenham Gazette.
