IN RESPONSE to your front page story (Gazette, 29 October) I would like to raise the point that since Pakenham Market Place has been built, it has occupied a space that used to be used as a carpark for Main Street shopping.
I am not sure of the legal ramifications but I feel shop owners would be entitled to sue the council for loss of business because of this decision.
So I just hoped “space for all” includes car parking.
