Pitched in the wrong place

ODD or illegally placed campaign vehicles are doing little for the Gembrook candidates as they head into the election.
Labor Candidate Collin Ross’s election caravan has been caught out on a number of occasions blocking driver vision or skirting dangerously close to the main road.
On one occasion, the Labor van was illegally parked less than 20 metres away from the O’Neil Road intersection which Senior Constable Will Watson from Pakenham police said “obstructed views” and would attract a fine if found by police.
The van has also frequented a popular intersection on the corner of Princes Highway and John Street which, despite being deemed legal by police, has made it tough for drivers to make a safe U-turn or caused them to edge toward the next lane.
Liberal incumbent Brad Battin has also attracted his share of public flak for parking his car in front of a rubbish heap in Officer.
Ed Barraclough who captured the photo said it wasn’t a good look weeks out from the State Election later this month.
“This guy is the standing member and has his eye on the environment for us. Well done Mr, well done,” he said.
