Liberal taste in music

Federal Member for McMillan Russell Broadbent, front, right, was partial to the jumpsuit back in the 1970s.

TWO of the Cardinia Shire’s biggest political names have been outed for their disparate tastes in music.
While they’re both Liberals, they clearly sing from different song sheets when it comes to tunes.
In preparation for an interview with Federal Member for McMillan Russell Broadbent, the Gazette stumbled across a picture on the ABC website, taken back in the 1970s when Mr Broadbent was a jumpsuit-wearing singer of show band The Trutones, which reportedly once opened for John Farnham.
Meanwhile, Member for Gembrook Brad Battin revealed last Friday he was off to a One Direction concert in Melbourne on Saturday night.
A true family man, Mr Battin assured us it was a treat for his young children.
Which only leaves one question: what is Member for Bass Brian Paynter listening to these days?
