Man dies at main street clinic

AN ELDERLY man has died after collapsing at Eastcare Medical Centre on Main Street, Pakenham, at noon today, Friday 12 June.
Sergeant Richard Dawson from Pakenham police said: “It’s a sad day.”
“Despite the best efforts of doctors and paramedics the gentleman could not be resuscitated,” Sgt Dawson said.
Four ambulances blocked traffic outside the medical centre for about 40 minutes and two policemen directed traffic and pedestrians until paramedics left the scene at 12.15pm.
