KIM REPCAK said she knew Lucy was the one for her when the 10-week-old bounced into her lap as if she was saying, “pick me, pick me!”
“Lucy has been such a gorgeous friend to me. The kids might be driving her mad, but she is always constantly happy and willing to show her love,” Kim said.
Lucy’s favourite person at home is Kim herself, according to Kim’s family.
The black pooch follows Kim around day in and day out that she now believes Shadow was a more suitable name.
As soon as Kim is having some sort of trouble, Lucy senses it and comes over for a smooch, making her so different to other dogs.
Lucy barks at her own reflection, lamp shades and even particular songs.
“Once we were having a nice time in the spa, and all of a sudden in jumped Lucy. I could not stop laughing!”
The three-year-old Tri Cavalier is always up for some play, but she adores her sleep even more. When she’s asleep, you can hear her snore from a mile away, Kim says.
Lucy is a big eater. Kim recalls one time that her son Jake went to the toilet at breakfast and Lucy came along and gobbled his slice of toast. When Kim has family functions at her house, she makes sure the food is directly in the middle of the table otherwise Lucy will come along and snatch it.
“She is a wonderful furry friend who I will forever love,” Kim said.
