Car gutted in supermarket car park

The car was severely damaged in the fire.

THE inside of a car was completed gutted by a fire which took hold of the vehicle on Friday 20 May as it sat parked alongside dozens of other vehicles in the middle of the day.
Firefighters were called to the car fire in the Berwick Coles car park, about 1.33pm, to find the car alight.
Three crews arrived to douse the flames which were put out within minutes.
A CFA spokesperson said there were about 20 cars in the immediate vicinity, but none were damaged.
Police said the fire was not believed to be suspicious.
Images of the car show the front window smashed in, burnt out seats and the dashboard destroyed.
