Volunteers do lunch

Volunteers were treated to a lunch as a way of thanks from Kooweerup Regional Health Service.

KOOWEERUP Regional Health Service took the opportunity to thank all its valued volunteers at a
luncheon held at Tides Restaurant in Tooradin.
The function provided an opportunity to celebrate
Volunteer Week and reflect on this year’s theme of ‘Give Happy Live Happy’.
Volunteering opportunities at Kooweerup Regional Health Service include leisure and lifestyle activities in aged care, youth mentoring programs, the ladies’ auxiliary, L2P (learner driver programs) and garden club.
The program supports volunteers with regular meetings, guest speakers and training programs.
As a core part of the community their support and gift of time adds enormous value to staff, residents,
patients and the local community.
