ARTISTS and would-be creatives are flocking to Kooweerup to take part in the town’s seasonal painting classes.
Some come from Kooweerup Men’s Shed, others are travelling from out of town to make the most of the free two-hour community art session which will continue to run until Saturday 3 December.
Student artists Sue Lia and Virginia Rennie laugh over their easels at time gone by.
The pair used to paint together while at Kooweerup High School 45 years ago.
The sessions are held from 10am – noon every Saturday morning at Kooweerup Men’s Shed on Rossiter Road, Kooweerup.
They’re suitable for beginners to experienced painters.
