Get into the Australia Day spirit this Friday.

Cardinia Australia Day
The 2018 celebrations will feature a day of free activities and amusements including face painting, a balloon twister, an animal petting farm, jumping castles, reptiles and a sausage sizzle cooked by the Lakeside Scout Group.

Long weekend at Gumbuya World
Gumbuya World has packed three days of fun into this Australia Day long weekend. Each day visitors will have the chance to win cool prizes, enjoy a classic Aussie barbecue, splash into the waterpark, meet Australian animals and spin out on the newest rides.
– Friday 26 to Sunday 28 of January, 10am to 6pm at Gumbuya World.

Fun at parkrun
Participate with more than 100 others in a free five-kilometre timed event every Saturday morning.
The event caters for serious runners and for those wanting a jog or even a walk.

EP launch
The Hunter Express is an indie rock/folk project spearheaded by Pakenham songwriter Brad Ellis.
With an EP in 2016 and a fresh LP just released, Ellis will be performing the songs as a trio with gripping instrumentation and unique folk melodies.

Summer Reading Club
Participants in the Summer Reading Club for five to 12 year olds are invited to join in this finale event.
Multi-skilled circus performer Terry Cole will provide entertainment in celebration of this year’s theme, Game On.

Kids get crafty
Children can create mermaid and pirate craft at these free workshops.
