Two lanes are closed outbound on the Monash Freeway near Narre Warren North Road due to a collision.
VicRoads Incident Response and Emergency Services are on site. Traffic is heavy and is currently getting around the accident through the road works zone.
VicRoads asks that people allow extra time if travelling through the area as there are delays.
Avoid the area and seek an alternative route if possible. The Princes Highway one alternative.
Incidents on our roads place first responders and others involved at a high risk of being struck by passing vehicles or debris. Motorists must not exceed 40km/h when passing emergency vehicles attending an emergency. This will ensure improved safety for everyone at the site.
