Pakenham man assaulted on street

A 35-year-old man was lucky to come away relatively unscathed after he was attacked by a group of males in Pakenham on Wednesday 20 February.

The victim was approached by the group on the corner of John and Henry Streets, where they surrounded the man and demanded money.

When the victim refused, the group pushed and punched him however, he managed to escape without any property taken and with minor injuries.

Six males are believed to have been involved.
