Woman struck at Officer shopping centre

A hit-run driver is wanted by police after he allegedly hit a 66-year-old woman in Officer.

The Officer woman was walking through the Arena Shopping Centre carpark just after 4pm on Thursday 26 March when she was struck.

A man, perceived to be in his 50s, was driving an older model silver coloured Holden or Ford sedan is believed to have hit the woman.

Investigators from the Pakenham police station believe the man briefly stopped but didn’t attempt to render assistance before leaving the scene.

A Victoria Police spokeswoman said the man was perceived to be caucasian and had a long grey beard with shoulder length, grey frizzy hair.
