Motoring on despite Covid-19

Owner of Beaconsfield Automotive Services Geoff Hudson.

The team at Beaconsfield Automotive Services has a simple philosophy – to ensure every customer drives away satisfied.

“Here at Beaconsfield Automotive Services, we pride ourselves on providing the best service possible to our customers,” said owner Geoff Hudson.

“We use quality parts fitted by highly trained team members to ensure that the job gets done right the first time, every time.”

Beaconsfield Automotive Services offers a comprehensive range of services including batteries, belts and hoses, brakes, diagnostics, fuel checks, road worthy reports, maintenance and log book servicing, suspension checks, tyre rotation and transmission repairs.

To comply with Covid-19 health advice, every vehicle is sanitised before and after it has been worked on with particular emphasis on door handles, the steering wheel, hand brake and gear shift.

Geoff said work at his garage had dropped because of the stay at home orders, but a regular flow of customers has meant enough work to keep the business afloat.

“It’s funny the phones are quiet but I am getting more people just dropping in than I did before. I am getting enough work to keep me going.”

And with many cars sitting idle in driveways as people work from home, Geoff reminded motorists about the dangers of flat batteries.

“It’s important to start your car every couple of days. People who aren’t using their cars are finding their batteries are dead flat. I’ve probably sold 10 batteries in the last two weeks.”

Beaconsfield Automotive Services is open week days from 8am until 5pm at 94 Princes Highway, Beaconsfield. Phone 9707 4468.
