Women from Gippsland and Baw Baw Shire are being asked to join the International Women’s Day event in Warragul on Tuesday 9 March.
Local women will be celebrated for their achievements in all areas of life, with various speakers talking about their successes in the community.
This year’s International Women’s Day theme is ‘choose to challenge,’ encouraging women to challenge the pay gap and gender discrimintation and violence.
Networking, music, platters and market stalls can be enjoyed from 5:30pm, with doors opening at 6:30pm for a 7pm start.
Tickets are $14 to represent the pay gap percentage, with all proceeds going to not-for-profit Women in Gippsland.
