The Snipers have sent a message to the rest of the teams in the South West Gippsland Darts League (SWGDL) after a thumping win over the previously undefeated Rebels.
The Snipers are now one of only two unbeaten teams – alongside Just Social – after outplaying the Rebels 11-4 in a one-sided shootout on Tuesday night.
Paky One is also a team to watch out for after it survived a nail-biting finish against the Warriors, winning 8-7. Shane from Paky One proved a valuable member of the team, throwing a maximum 180 in his team’s narrow victory.
Ant, from the Warriors, produced a 121 check-out in his team’s loss.
Just Social proved too strong for Gembrook, with Pez showing his class with a season-high 158 check-out in a dominant 12-3 win.
And Middels have tasted their first victory of the season after a hard-fought 8-7 victory over the Mud Rats.
Some big games are coming up over the next two weeks with the game between Snipers and Just Social, at the Cardinia Club on Tuesday 8 March, set to be a beauty.
