New blood at seniors centre

PAKENHAM Senior Citizens Centre’s newest members are Kath and John Noye, and the club extends the warmest welcome to Ken Early.
The club wishes the happiest of birthdays to Kath Dickinson, Les North, Helen Cook, Elizabeth Crowther, Harry Stone, Margaret Pagano, Fay Potter and Ronald Cameron.
To all members who are not well, the club wishes you a speedy recovery and hope to see them again soon.
Members are invited to enjoy a Christmas in July event on 15 July at the Skyways Hotel.
On Monday, members meet for lunch at 11.45am which will be followed by a game of cards or bingo. Members can choose between craft from 10am to 2pm or billiards at 10am on Tuesday while carpet bowls will be offered at 1pm on Wednesday and Saturday.
At 10am on Thursday, tai chi will be offered to all members, including news, and the Spanish Speaking Group will meet on Friday at 10am.
The Little Tatts lucky winners were Moira Tousaint, Betty Broderick, Gloria McNamara, Judy Brigham, Helen Cook, Ellen Allen, Arthur Lewis, Joan Walker, Majorie Stephenson and Nan Scott.
Judy Brigham, John Cazaly and Helen Cook were lucky to win the raffle and Veronica Murphy and Lily Jack won the door prize.
Attendance at the last meeting was 148.
