YMCA has been re-awarded its council tender to continue managing the Berwick Leisure Centre for a further 10 years.
This will be the not-for-profit’s third decade in managing gymnastics and stadium facilities across the Casey region.
City of Casey mayor Sam Aziz said the council was pleased to award the tender to YMCA.
“Following a successful two-decade partnership, council is pleased that the YMCA will continue to manage gymnastics and stadium facilities within the City of Casey for a further 10 years,” Cr Aziz said.
“Council is looking forward to continuing to work with YMCA to further develop sporting opportunities for both our residents and players from further afield.”
YMCA Casey area manager Matt Spencer said the renewal of the contract would allow it to provide more programs and ensure everybody had the opportunity to grow in body, mind and spirit.
YMCA is an industry leader in gymnastics lessons, swimming lessons, child care, stadium sports and health clubs throughout the state.
